A one-day music festival in the countryside just outside Whitby with fantastic sea views.

Saturday 4th June 2022, 12pm – 11pm – Live music starts at 2pm.

In the field next to The Fox and Hounds, Goldsborough, Whitby YO21 3RX

What will be there?

Live music to entertain you on our outdoor stage (2pm-11pm). There’s also food and outside bar available all day.

Who is it for?

Goldsborough Live is a family-friendly event. kids are welcome with accompanying adult.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, NO pets allowed on this day.

What should I bring?

Feel free to bring camping chairs, picnic mats, anything you need for the day. Food and drink is available onsite all day.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Only alcohol purchased onsite in allowed. DO NOT bring any with you.

Where can I park?

Plenty of onsite parking will be available on the day.

Can I stay overnight?

Unfortunately there are no overnight stays allowed. The event finishes at 11pm.

Who’s playing at Goldsborough Live?

The Beer Pigs

Well known around Teesside and North Yorkshire, The Beers Pigs have been entertaining music fans for nearly 30 years. They’ll perform songs from a huge mix of bands including The Jam, Slade, Franz Ferdinand, The Beatles, Elvis and countless others.

Spilt Milk

This Indie-rock band hail from Gateshead, but are now playing gigs across the UK. They started busking around the North East in 2017 and now have an ever-growing army of fans. Big things are to come from Spilt Milk!


Skandals has been playing upbeat, party ska gigs in local pubs and festivals for over 10 years and nowadays mixes ska favourites such as Lip Up Fatty and Rat Race with originals about getting your MOT, gaining freedom but not really, and cheese. Get your skanking boots on and your singalong voice ready.

Edwina Hayes

A naturally talented folk singer, Edwina has toured extensively for nearly 20 years including performances at the Royal Albert Hall and Glastonbury. She’ll sing upbeat folky covers from the likes of Van Morrison, John Denver and Cat Stevens!

Bad Bob Bates

Bad Bob Bates is a veteran North East England musician from banks of the river Tyne. His full on dirty foot stompin’ blues and americana ballads delight crowds, and his reworkings of songs you already know – with no backing track – bang out a big sound experience no-one really expects.

Candi’s Dog

Trio Candi’s Dog offer a unique folk­pop sound with upbeat melodies and warming harmonies. This creative threesome may add kazoos or homemade acoustic bass to their rich vocals as they echo the likes of Crowded House and the Beach Boys.
